Maryland, DC, and Cherry Blossoms

April 11, 2013

Now that I’ve been home for a few days and caught up on my sleep, I’m ready to share my travel photos!

The first and last parts of my trip was spent in Maryland, with a few visits to Washington DC in there.  I loved catching up with Jenny and Michael, spending some time with Adella and meeting Maryn!  It was also lovely getting to relax in the country for a few days and see the beginnings of springtime.  Here’s a few of my favorite shots:

We visited the Botanical Gardens in DC, and of course, I had to photograph the hydrangeas.  Ah, I’m always so sad I can’t grow them here in Colorado!

And of course a Jenny-Kathryn photo was necessary.008

We enjoyed a nice pedicab ride through the city.  I always see these guys around and never get in one of their carriages.  What a lovely way to tour the city!

On my way back home, it was just in time for the cherry trees to blossom.  What a spectacle!  I can see why everyone makes such a big deal about it!

And just a few photos around the Waldon’s neighborhood.  Country life and springtime are such a lovely combination.

These were taken specifically for Aunty Tara and Uncle Spencer– cute taste in clothes!

Thank you Jenny and Michael for welcoming me into your home!  I loved spending time with you.
